FAQ
How do you approach an advertising photo shoot?
Before we even pick up a camera we will help you evaluate your visual branding. We believe bringing in new business and keeping old business requires a good sense of knowing who you want to attract. Are you wanting to engage a new type of customer? Are there products, foods, or ideas you want to highlight? We will help you get from problem to solution.
How do you determine your pricing?
There isn't one way to determine pricing, but we use an industry standard pricing model as a basis. It includes three general factors: Creative Fee, Pre and/or Post Production, and a Licensing Fee. Other costs such as models, food/prop styling, travel, equipment rentals, are added as needed.
How does a Licensing Fee work?
A Licensing Fee is determined according to whether the images are needed for advertising or editorial, print or online, one year or more, etc.
When you take pictures of people do you ask their permission?
Yes. If any of the images are used for advertising or promotion we always have the subject sign a model release. For editorial photo shoots all we need is the adult's verbal consent.
